Welcome to Sober Attraction. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sober Attraction website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using Sober Attraction, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to access or use Sober Attraction. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Purpose of the Platform

Sober Attraction is a dating and community platform for individuals who choose sober or alcohol-free dating.

Sober Attraction is not:

A medical service
A mental health service
A recovery or addiction treatment program

We do not provide professional, medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

When creating an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful information
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

You agree not to:

Misrepresent your identity or intentions
Harass, abuse, threaten, or exploit other users
Engage in illegal, deceptive, or harmful conduct
Solicit money, services, or off-platform contact for fraudulent purposes

Sober Attraction reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or community standards.

4. Safety & User Interactions

You acknowledge that:

Interactions with other users occur at your own risk
Sober Attraction does not conduct criminal background checks
We do not verify identities or sobriety claims

Users are solely responsible for their safety and decisions, both online and offline.

5. Content & User Submissions

Users may submit content such as profiles, photos, and messages.

By submitting content, you grant Sober Attraction a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute such content solely for operating and promoting the Service.

You retain ownership of your content.

6. Subscriptions & Payments (If Applicable)

If paid features or subscriptions are offered:

Pricing and terms will be disclosed clearly
Payments are processed by third-party providers
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled
Refunds are subject to applicable laws and platform policies, including Apple’s policies

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

Sober Attraction may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms, to protect users, or for legal or operational reasons.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

Sober Attraction makes no warranties regarding:

Match success
User behavior
Accuracy of profiles
Continuous or error-free operation

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sober Attraction shall not be liable for:

Personal injury
Emotional distress
Financial loss
Loss of data
Disputes between users

Use of the Service is at your sole risk.

10. Privacy

Your use of Sober Attraction is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Apple App Store Compliance

These Terms are between you and Sober Attraction, not Apple.

You acknowledge that:

Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content
Apple has no obligation to provide support
Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
